You can download the watchOS 10.1 beta (21S5042f) update for free via the dedicated Apple Watch app on your iPhone by going to General > Software Update. To install the new software, your Apple Watch must have at least 50 percent battery charge, be on a charger, and be within range of your iPhone.

For Beta release:
To update watchOS 10.1 beta (21S5042f), developers will need to download the configuration profile from Apple Developer Center. To install new software, Apple Watch must have at least 50 percent battery charge, be on a charger, and be within range of an iPhone.
