Apple je v svojem dogodku najavil, da macOS Monterey izide 25. oktobra ob 19.00, torej danes.

Za prenos bo na voljo preko System Preferences > System Update.

MacOS Monterey‌ je združljiv s številnimi Maci, ki so lahko poganjali macOS Big Sur, vendar bo opustil podporo za nekatere starejše modele MacBook Air in iMac iz let 2013 in 2014 ter MacBook iz leta 2015. Združljivi računalniki so navedeni spodaj:
