Iskalniki stvari AirTag so z Applovimi AirTag dobili dodatno razsežnost, saj niso omejeni zgolj na največ nekaj deset m razdalje med obeskom in povezanim telefonom. Vendar to poleg dobrih prinaša tudi temnejše plati in po mesecih novic o zalezovanju, izkoriščanju teh napravic za načrtovanje ropov in podobnih neprijetnih primerov so v Applu o tem morali spregovoriti ter napovedati določene spremembe.
